DiMatteo Group is a family owned financial planning firm established in 1960.  We focus on helping the home building industry and all of the supporting industries, such as trade contractors and suppliers, manage their retirement plans.  Our experience with plan design and investment analysis sets us apart as a valued partner to our clients.  We offer the new HBRA members 401k plan which provides lower cost via economies of scale and reduced fiduciary responsibilities by outsourcing the administrative and investment oversight responsibilities.  

Alan is a 47 year veteran of the residential remodeling business, retiring to consulting, coaching and mentoring other remodelers who are interested in understanding their financials, improving business processes, and ensuring their businesses will survive and thrive in good times and bad.
Alan teaches classed for the NAHB designation classes and 10 of their other offerings, he has been the content provider, read author, of 3 of those classes thru the years. He teaches at the IBS (International Builders Show) and many local and state associations as well.
He currently is the treasurer of the HBRA of Central CT, a life director at the HBRA of Central CT, serving since 1999 and at the national level is a senior life delegate with 24 years of service on that board.
